Hello Everybody,
I hope you are all well and keeping busy with your creative and artistic minds. Although for many of us this time may be difficult it can also be an amazing opportunity to explore new things and skills that we'd always say we would never have time do to. Enjoy this time and explore beyond your capabilities!
As our collective are currently unable to present and curate the space on Ward 45 we would still like to showcase not only the individual pieces of the collective but also the collaborative mural that has been especially made for the entrance of the ward. Although for the time being these are unable to be hung on the ward, we are ready to do so once this all blows over - and cannot wait to engage with the space again soon.
We hope to bring you joy at least virtually and soon physically. Therefore we are inviting all of you to our online exhibition that will be presenting the outcomes of this collective project. This will be launching on our website on 1st May 2020 - we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
We would like to also wish all the best to all of the NHS staff that are currently working on Ward 45 and elsewhere - and we hope all of the patients and yourselves are well and safe. We wanted to personally thank Emily and Jessica for their fantastic work ethic and the things you do every day for the elderly care unit - and most importantly inviting us to your space, giving us your precious time to explore creative possibilities to bring happiness and joy to all of the individuals on the ward.
We wanted to say a big thank you to Dawn (Lime Arts) for allowing us to collaborate with you and establish a unified outcome to this amazing project, we are so very grateful to have been given this opportunity to have worked with such incredible people - thank you for opening our eyes to a new perspective to the arts, health and the arts community.
